British authorities have confirmed the arrest of a suspect linked to the tragic killing of three women in a crossbow attack near London. The victims include the wife and two daughters of prominent BBC radio commentator John Hunt.
Hertfordshire Police announced that 26-year-old Kyle Clifford was captured in the Enfield area of north London, not far from his residence.
Currently, ownership of crossbows in Britain does not require a license, although it is illegal to carry one in public without a valid reason. Following this incident, Home Secretary Yvette Cooper has expressed intent to swiftly review whether stricter regulations on crossbow possession are necessary.
