Nevada Attorney General Wins Democratic Nomination for Governor

Aaron Ford, Nevada's attorney general, won the Democratic nomination for governor on Tuesday and will advance to the general election this November.

Ford will now face incumbent Republican Gov. Joe Lombardo in what is expected to be one of the most closely watched and competitive gubernatorial races in the country.

The campaign is expected to focus heavily on issues such as housing affordability, the rising cost of living, economic growth, and public services.

If elected, Ford would become Nevada's first Black governor.
