Toronto, Canada, faced significant challenges on Tuesday as a severe thunderstorm swept through the city, resulting in widespread flooding of major roadways and highways, notably the Don Valley Parkway. Thousands of residents were also left without power as a result of the storm.

According to Toronto Hydro, approximately 167,000 residents were without electricity as of Tuesday afternoon, highlighting the extensive impact of the storm on the city's infrastructure.
