Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani Hospitalized In ‘Critical Condition’

Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, who also served as a personal attorney to Donald Trump during his first term, has been hospitalized in Florida. His spokesperson, Ted Goodman, said Giuliani “remains in critical but stable condition,” though no specific details about the cause of his hospitalization have been released. Mr. Giuliani took office as mayor in January 1994 after defeating incumbent Mayor David N. Dinkins, who was seeking a second term. He served until December 2001 and played a key role in leading the city in the aftermath of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. He later went on to become a personal lawyer to Mr. Trump during the president’s first term.
