‘Twin Peaks’ Actor Owain Rhys Davies Dies at 44

Owain Rhys Davies, the Welsh actor known for his roles in Twin Peaks: The Return and The OA, has died at the age of 44.

Davies was best known for portraying FBI Agent Wilson in the 2017 revival of Twin Peaks, appearing in three episodes alongside David Lynch, who played FBI Deputy Director Gordon Cole.

His brother, Rhodri Davies, announced the news in an Instagram post over the weekend, saying the circumstances surrounding Davies' death remain unclear. “It is with profound sadness that my father and I share the news that my brother, Owain, has passed away,” he wrote.

The Twin Peaks fan account @welcomedtotwinpeaks also paid tribute, sharing a behind-the-scenes photo of Davies and Lynch. “Our thoughts are with his family, friends and all those who knew and loved him,” the post said. “Thank you for being a part of the world of Twin Peaks, Agent Wilson.”
